Serra Salt Machinery has successfully engineered, manufactured, and commissioned a complete salt washing and refining plant in Bangladesh, helping a local producer overcome the challenges of processing low-quality raw salt.
Five Washing Steps for Maximum Purity
Due to the poor quality of the available raw salt in the region, the new Serra line includes a five-step washing process, specially designed to remove impurities and produce high-purity salt suitable for human and industrial consumption. This multi-stage washing system ensures a significant improvement in the final product’s chemical and physical properties.
Dual Output Capacity: Centrifuged and Dry Salt
The plant operates with a dual output flow:
- 10 tons/hour of centrifuged salt, ideal for industrial use or further processing.
- 15 tons/hour of dry salt, ready for packaging and distribution as table salt or for industrial applications.
This setup allows the client to adapt production based on demand while maintaining consistent quality.
